PUMA have been involved in so many wavy collaborations recently, that it’s a little hard to keep up with them. One minute it’s BAPE, then it’s Rihanna and now it’s West London-based label, Trapstar.
Their initial collab with Trapstar was in late 2015, but this year’s A/W collection is much bigger. This time around, the complete collection is encompassing armoury vests, hoodies and crewnecks to sweatpants and trainers.
A couple of weeks ago, Trapstar released a short film titled ‘Unruly’, showing off the highly anticipated collection. There are two items that have been seen before, and that’s the Disc Blaze and Cell Bubble, the former in a camo colourway this time. The pieces feature trademark white noise and camouflage patterns, as well as cherry red and grey gradient colouration.
My favourite piece of the collection has to be the camo print Savannah jacket [see above and below right]. Camouflage has never looked so good.
Do you give the PUMA x Trapstar collaboration a thumbs up? Or thumbs down? Let me know what you think!
